Ocean Side Spleef 2.0!!





Ladies and Gentlemen, we are back with a brand new, bigger, better version of last map's Ocean Side Spleef, I give you, Ocean Side Spleef 2.0!


This new arena has many new features different from the last one, including a bigger roller coaster, bubble elevators, and a new, more fun and chaotic concept!



Take the portal( or bring your own boat), and you will find that this arena has greatly increased in height for easier matches. Grab a minecart, hop onto the new, bigger roller coaster, and get a bird's eye view of all the arena has to offer.


Ocean side spleef will host matches very often if it makes arena status. But it is recognized that spleef cannot be hosted all the time. And that's where the new Host-Your-Own Spleef arena comes in. In this new style of spleef, you are the host of the round. You decide how the match is run. Grab some of your buddies and play a few games in this miniature version of its parent arena!


Occasionally, some of the rounds can get very chaotic, with all the rules being thrown out the window! The host may decide to open up a little shack on the property, also known as the Cheat Shop! Sells everything from Ender pearls to extra lives! You can use these rare, magical items, to troll other players without getting called out by the host.

With a score of 317.75/600, coming out to 53%, I am sorry to say that Ocean Side Spleef has not been successful in this round of voting. Whilst I'm sure this is disappointing, there were a number of comments from voters with encouragement and helpful advice re. changes that could be made ahead of a second vote. Personally, I like the theme and the base you have there, and think you could pass next time fairly easily.

Alright, Ocean Side Spleef is back up for vote. With many concepts completely reworked and many more completely new features added.

One feature of the arena that has been reworked is the Cheat Shop, which the wrecking ball has been put on. Now, it has been replaced by a fully automatic Block Exchange, where you can turn in the blocks you collected during rounds of spleef and turn them in for prizes and power-ups!

Another thing that has been reworked is the roller coaster! It has now been replaced with a bigger, underwater roller coaster! Explore the habitat below the arena as the roller coaster takes you on a journey.


Styles of spleef have also been modified. Now, there are some new gamemodes that will be very chaotic, and perhaps a bit deadly. . .?



Also, there are now many more things to do while waiting for a new round to start. Not only is there Host-Your-Own Spleef, but there is now a miniature arcade with two fully functional arcade machines that give you prizes, with more to come in the future!


The surrounding area has also been cleaned up and heavily landscaped.



If Ocean Side Spleef passes, I will host spleef as often as possible and add many more new features to the arena and the area around it! Hope to see you all on the spleef floor soon!
