Making All Traps mean't for players not Allowed in the nether

I just would like to ask , is there any way that all traps in the nether made for players to die & loose their stuff could be somehow not aloud at all ( including traps outside and far from spawn) I just think its a very mean spirited thing to do and It seems to go against what a Family Friendly environment should be.

ehh, i don't think it has anything to do with family friendliness.
but on the whole, now i think of it, i wouldn't like losing my diamond armor

Yeah true. I fell into one today. I didn't die but I did have to go back to spawn to get out of it. Then had to make my way to the trap to disable it.

Traps close to the nether spawn are already against the nether's rules, rule 4. If you ever need a refresher on what isn't allowed within the nether, you can do /nether in game.

But How is it fair that a player can deliberately place a trap just to take someone's stuff?
I don't think its fair that anyone can do that near spawn or away from it

In my opinion all traps of whatever shape and kind, WHEREVER in the nether they may be, should not be allowed. I think it shouldnt be 'near spawn' or whatever, I think it should simply be No Traps, anywhere. Having traps is basically making it so theres a small rift like thing going on at the back of the nether. What about all those people that venture our there to mine quartz and other blocks, just to find themselves and all their hard work die in lava. I just think that traps altogether - wherever they are, should be banned - only they should be allowed at rift.

The nether has its own set of rules, going into the nether is at your own risk.
