[Guide] LWC Protections - Chests, Doors, etc

LWC

LWC is an excellent method of protection. LWC has the ability of protecting chests, trapped chests, furnaces, signs, dispensers, trapdoors, doors, droppers, and fence gates. LWC allows you(the person who locked them) to open or interact with these items, but it prevents people not on the Access Control List from using them or breaking them. When you use the below commands for LWC, after typing the command you have to punch/left click the object you are wanting to make a change to.


Protected Automatically

The following items are automatically locked to a player when placed.

- Chests
- Trapped Chests
- Furnaces
- Signs
- Dispensers


LWC Commands

Info - /cinfo - Displays ownership info about an object
Syntax: /cinfo
Example: /cinfo (than punch the object)

Private - /cprivate - Lock/private an object to yourself
Syntax: /cprivate
Example: /cprivate (than punch the object)

Remove - /cremove - Completely remove the object's protection
Syntax: /cremove
Example: /cremove (than punch the object)

Modify - /cmodify - Add or remove members on the object to use the it. To remove someone, prefix the name with a - Example: /cmodify -Terror_on_Earth On donation chests, members are not able to remove the items.
Syntax: /cmodify <player>
Example: /cmodify Terror_on_Earth (than punch the object)

Modify @ - /cmodify @ - Add or remove (ADMIN)s on the object. To remove someone, prefix the name with a - Example: /cmodify -@Terror_on_Earth (ADMINS) on an object have the ability to add and remove others members. On donation chests, (ADMIN)s are able to remove the items.
Syntax: /cmodify @<player>
Example: /cmodify Terror_on_Earth (than punch the object)

Public - /cpublic - Protect an object from being removed, but allow others to use and interact with it
Syntax: /cpublic
Example: /cpublic (than punch the object)

Password - /cpassword - Locks an object to yourself and lets others use it with a password. (the object must have no protection on it when you attempt this)
Syntax: /cpassword <password>
Example: /cpassword 12345 (than punch the object)

Unlock - /cunlock - Unlock a password protected object for use; you will have to enter this command again if you relog
Syntax: /cunlock <password>
Example: /cunlock 12345 (than punch the object)

Persist - /cpersist - Used for running a command over and over. Very useful for unlocking a bunch of chests. Type this command and than follow it with the command you want to persist. Type /cpersist again to disable it
Syntax: /cpersist
Example: /cpersist (than punch the object)


LWC Flags

Autoclose - /lwc autoclose - Autocloses doors, trapdoors, and fence gates after opening them
Syntax: /lwc flag autoclose <state>
Example: /lwc flag autoclose on (than punch the object)

Hopper - /lwc flag hopper - Allows hoppers to interact with chests
Syntax: /lwc flag hopper <state>
Example: /lwc flag hopper on (than punch the object)

Redstone - /lwc flag redstone - Limits the ability of objects to interact with redstone
Syntax: /lwc flag redstone
Example: /lwc flag redstone on (than punch the object)
