Skylands is what we call the area of Cubeville where the mini-games reside. Here you can play PvP, bowling, connect 4 and more! To get there, go to /hub and walk through the "Games" portal. PvP, Spleef, Games, and Other are the four major sections of Skylands. They are detailed below.
PvP
The PvP section is an area of Skylands where you can select an arena and fight other players in kit PvP. Skylands has separate inventories than the regular Survival world so you don't have to worry about dying and losing your stuff.
There are quite a few server built PvP arenas and player made ones. CTF ( capture the flag) is also in this wing of Skylands, and it offers a unique gamemode for a PvP arena.
Playing PvP here is quite simple. After you chose your arena, right click the sign of the kit/loadout option you wish to play as.
Killing people the moment they spawn is referred to as, "spawn-killing" and is against the rules.

Spleef
The Spleef section of Skyland has three different options for fun. The main Spleef arena is hosted by staff, so it can only be played during a hosted session. There is also Pizza Spleef and Sand Spleef. Both of these can be played without being hosted by staff.

Hosted Spleef
The goal of Spleef is to be the last one standing. You will break other blocks from underneath your opponents causing them to fall to win the game. It is against the rules of the game to "Island" or trap yourself on the Spleef floor where other players can't get to you.
Sand Spleef
Sand Spleef has the same goal as regular spleef, but you don't break the block yourself. As you run around on the floor, sand blocks will be falling beneath you. Don't fall! Last player standing wins.
Pizza Spleef
Pizza Spleef is a scaled down version of the full spleef arena. It also has different abilities(effects) you can put on yourself or other players by breaking certain blocks. Tremendous fun. Be the last one standing to win!
Games
The Games section of Skylands has various fun mini-games to enjoy with friends. Some of these need to be hosted by staff and some can be played at any time.

Connect 4
Players: 2
The goal of Connect 4 is to get 4 squares in a row filled with your sand. You each take turns pushing the buttons to drop sand in certain vertical rows.
Lava Run
Players: 1-unlimited
The goal of Lava Run is to finish the parkour before you die in the lava flowing slowly towards you. This is a hosted game, but it can be practiced at any time without the lava flowing.
Bingo
Players: 2-4
The goal of Bingo is to have three lights in a row lit up on your board. Each player picks a board. Someone presses the "Reset" button to start a new game. Check your board to see if the item that appeared in the glass box is on your board. If it is, flip the lever on the back of the tile lamp to light that item. Push the "Next" button and repeat until someone has three in a row lit up!
Naval Battle
Players: 2-whatever the host decides
The goal of Naval Battle is to be the last boat floating in the water. You will have a bow to shoot at the other teams boats while zooming around in a boat yourself. This is a hosted game, but when hosted, it is loads of fun.
Bowling
Players: 1-8
Bowling is a simple game you can play by yourself or with friends. The goal is to knock down all the pins at the end of the lane. Grab a bowling kit at the desk by right clicking one of the signs. You throw the bowling ball by dropping(hitting Q) while standing on the dark oak wood.
Obstacle Course
Players: 1-3
The goal of obstacle course is to complete it.
Grab a boat and start in one of the three lanes.
Dyna Dude
Players: 2-unlimited
To win at Dyna Dude, don't die. Your goal is to use TnT to blow up other palyers and not get blown up yourself. It is basically PvP with TnT instead of swords and bows. There are three different kits with varying amounts of tnt and speed.
Nubman
Players: 3-5
Nubman is the Minecraft version of the classic game, Pac-Man. A "Nubman" is automatically selected and the other players become "Ghosts". Your goal as the Nubman is to walk over all the redstone lamps to advance through the levels without being eaten by any Ghosts. The goal of the Ghosts is to eat the Nubman. Be careful. If the Nubman has eaten a Power Pill, he can eat you!
Scribble
Players: 1-unlimited
Scribble is a fun game where you can draw something, and your friends can guess what you are drawing. Simply walk into the portal to tp into the drawing area.
Bury Berry
Players: 2
The goal of bury berry is to find and dig up your opponents wool blocks before they find your hidden wool. At the start of the game, there is a time period for you to hide your wool blocks under the ground. After this phase you and your opponent swap sides and you have to find their hidden wool blocks. First one to find all 5 wins!
Block Party
Players: 2-unlimited
The goal of block party is to be the last person standing. You will be given a color wool to stand on, and you have to stand on the color of wool before all the other wool blocks disappear.
